St. Joseph Hospital is committed to the care and treatment of all burn injury victims. The following guidelines have been developed so that you, as a scene responder, can properly triage and treat burn victims. Co-Medical Directors
Kevin Berning, MD, and Alan Stephens, MD, are co-medical directors of the St. Joseph Regional Burn Center. They oversee direct patient care, which includes nonsurgical and surgical medical management, and they educate staff as well as the general public on the center and its services. Both physicians are practicing plastic surgeons at Summit Plastic Surgery.
