Dive Tanks

St. Joseph Hyperbaric "Dive Tanks"

 

Our hyperbaric chambers, or "dive tanks", are large enough to accommodate 17 people at one time.
A certified dive technician oversees treatment from the control suite. The dive master monitors the pressurization and decompression and is in constant communication with the everyone in the tank through an intercom system.
While in the chamber, patients can listen to the radio, or watch television to help pass the time. There will be a nurse (or other medical professional, as needed) in the tank to provide hands-on care during the dive.
