The birth of child is one of the most exciting experiences in life. So much to do, so much planning and so much to learn. The Birthplace at St. Joseph Hospital offers the caring and comfort that expecting families need.

St. Joseph Hospital has helped deliver more than 50,000 babies, we've developed our childbirth services to provide the most comfort in the safest setting.

During delivery mom can have family or close friends in the room, as long as the physician approves. Our birthing rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated for a relaxed setting. Amenities in each of the 18 patient rooms include DVD players, Internet access, guest daybeds and wardrobe cabinets. The unit also has a Jacuzzi to assist with pain management during labor.

Our private rooms allow mom to rest comfortably. Our nurses and lactation consultants will help mom learn positioning for the comfort of both mom and baby if mom chooses to nurse.
