Referrals
The healthcare team at the St. Joseph Outpatient Burn and Wound Clinic assist and accompany patients on their path to better health. The clinic’s staff uses a multidisciplinary approach to care and works in conjunction with each patient’s family doctor or specialist. A physician referral, however, is not necessary. Call (260) 425-3567 to schedule an appointment.

Hyperbaric Medicine
The St. Joseph Burn and Wound Clinic offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to aid in healing wounds. HBO therapy works by saturating plasma with oxygen, which results in increased oxygen delivery to hypoxic areas such as chronically infected, irradiated and compromised tissue. HBO therapy also enhances the white blood cells’ capacity to kill bacteria and helps reduce edema through vasoconstriction. The hyperbaric physician works closely with your primary care physician to determine the best course of treatment.
