Snoring solutions
"Laugh and the world laughs with you; snore and you sleep alone." - Anthony Burgess, author (1917-1993)
Snoring is a common sleep problem, particularly among men. But snoring is no laughing matter. It can disrupt the sleep of a bed partner (and other family members), and can also be a symptom of sleep apnea, a serious and common sleep disorder characterized by pauses in breathing during sleep. According to a recent poll by the National Sleep Foundation (NSF), six out of ten adults say they snore.

People with untreated sleep apnea are two to seven times more likely to have automobile crashes than the general population. (National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute. Facts about sleep apnea. 1995 Sept.) |
