St. Joseph Hospital Presented with Vision Award from the Indiana Lion’s Eye Bank

WHAT: Indiana Lion’s Eye Bank will present St. Joseph Hospital with the Vision Award to commend its dedication to the donor program as well as the community of Fort Wayne.

manager, Indiana Lion’s Eye Bank

WHY: St. Joe was responsible for making a difference in the lives of more than 28 individuals through the gift of sight in 2012. St. Joe had 14 cornea donors with a conversion ratio of 43.8 percent last year, which exceeded the state average.
