Festival Tree Donated to St. Joe Burn Center

Superhero-themed tree to comfort burned children

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Dec. 9, 2010) — Although the Embassy's 26th Annual Festival of Trees is now over, the good will generated by this local event is living on for children receiving care at the St. Joseph Regional Burn Center.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Thrivent Community — Greater Hoagland, a superhero-themed tree will be on display throughout the holiday season in the outpatient burn and wound clinic at St. Joe. Children admitted to the burn center or seen in the clinic may also take an ornament from the tree to help them have a super holiday.
